Stewardship

We Believe in Biblical Stewardship.  God is the owner of all things (Psalm 24:1, Deuteronomy 10:14), therefore we are but caretakers of His riches.  God commands us to steward well what He has given us (Genesis 2:15, 1 Peter 4:10).  When we steward well what God has given us, He multiplys our blessings (Matthew 25:14-30). This is not Prosperity gospel that seems to claim we are owed abundance from God for our actions.  Blessings from biblical Stewardship has evidence of our faithfulness.  When we steward well (our finances or talents), no matter how small or large they are, Jesus claims God will trust us with more, and for those who don't steward well, what they have will be removed. As a church we don't focus on a percentage, but on faithfulness with what God has trusted us with.  We also believe as a church, that we as a gathered entity must also steward well the resources we recieve, using Godly wisdom in how His blessings are distributed within the church, in the surrounding community, and to the ends of the earth.
